FANTASTIC THEATER Brief Conversations, written by Sol Levinton,
directed by Gloria Zelaya. Featuring Ruben D. Cruz, Tere Martinez, Luis
Lopez and Romina Polnoroff. Produced by The Latino Experimental Fantastic
Theater. Brief Conversations conveys the unique inter-relationship
of two couples who demand attention to their need for love and an ideal

- UKE JACKSON Uke Jackson is a playwright, musician and performer. He
is also the founder and artistic director for the New York Uke Fest, a
popular event at Theater for the New City. His musical Comedy, Uke
2079, written with ASCAP Young Composer of the year Jay Rattman, is
bound for Broadway after a series of concert readings were presented at
the NY Uke Fest in 2006. He is also a regular on Midnight Ukulele Disco TV
on MNN.

performs May (Unrequited Love) (an attempt to simplify the
wonderfully complex world of unrequited love) and Even I've Got
Standards (Internet dating is an interesting thing--sometimes you get
lucky and then there are other times. This song is about those other
times). Katz has always pushed the genre envelope, recently incorporating
the fretless shamisen (Japanese lute) and Japanese lyrics into his

the East Village this summer with a reading of the new play, Applied
Ecological Authority.

video street play, No Sir! This play was designed as an on-site
theatre piece to be performed at Times Square, Military Island in front of
the Armed Forces recruitment booth. Collectively developed by The Living

of Knowing Bliss at Teatro La Tea in April and May, 2006. Cast: Candice
